Vivo is set to launch the Vivo Y300 5G in China on December 16. Unlike its Indian counterpart, the Chinese variant is expected to come with distinct design and feature differences, as revealed by teasers and recent leaks. The smartphone will join the Vivo Y300 Pro, which debuted in China in September.

A leak from tipster WHYLAB on Weibo has outlined the complete specifications for the Chinese version of the Vivo Y300 5G. The handset will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with LPDDR4X RAM in four configurations:
- 8GB + 128GB
- 8GB + 256GB
- 12GB + 256GB
- 12GB + 512GB
It will run Android 15-based OriginOS 5, offering an optimized and customizable user experience.
Display
The Vivo Y300 5G will feature a 6.77-inch OLED flat screen with a resolution of 2,392 x 1,080 pixels. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 8-bit color depth, and Diamond Shield glass protection. Brightness options include up to 1,800 nits local peak brightness, while high-frequency PWM dimming of up to 3,840Hz (developer mode) ensures smooth visuals. The display is also designed to be responsive to oily hands, enhancing usability.
