Oppo recently introduced the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, with plans to reveal the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Mini early next year.
In a recent post on Weibo, Oppo executive Zhou Yibao outlined the company’s strategy for future launches in the Find series. He confirmed that Oppo will hold two major Find series events each year—one in the spring and another in the autumn (or fall in the U.S.). The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro debuted in the fall, suggesting the Find X8 Ultra and Find X8 Mini will be unveiled in the spring. Additionally, the Find N5 is expected to launch before these devices. The Find N5 will be rebranded for international markets as the OnePlus Open 2. Leaked specs and initial renders for this phone surfaced earlier today.
Digital Chat Station also reported that prototypes of the Find X8 Ultra, currently under testing, feature a telephoto macro camera. However, the camera’s performance hasn’t been impressive, leaving uncertainty as to whether it will be included in the final version or replaced before release.
