Sony officially launched the PlayStation 5 Pro globally, following its initial reveal in September. However, the release doesn’t cover all markets. India is notably absent from the list of countries where the PS5 Pro is available.
According to Sony, “PS5 Pro will not be available in some countries (which presently includes India) where the 6GHz wireless band used in IEEE 802.11be (Wi-Fi 7) has not yet been allowed.” As such, the PlayStation 5 Pro will be available only in regions supporting this technology.
The PS5 Pro retails at $699.99, with an additional $999.99 option for the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle. This limited edition bundle is capped at 12,300 units, each individually numbered and designed in tribute to the original 1994 PlayStation.
