Lava Agni 2 5G: India’s First MediaTek Dimensity 7050 Smartphone with 120Hz Curved AMOLED Display

Lava Mobiles launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Agni 2 5G, on May 16, 2023, in New Delhi, India. Priced at INR 21,999, the Agni 2 is equipped with cutting-edge technology and features, providing a competitive option for mid-range smartphone buyers in India.

The standout feature of the Agni 2 5G is its 6.78-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz Refresh Rate, supporting HDR, HDR10, and HDR10+ with a color depth of 1.07 billion colors and Widevine L1. The phone’s design incorporates an ergonomic 3D Dual Curve Design with a super-thin bottom bezel, boasting a screen-to-body ratio of 93.65%. The premium 3D glass back with Matte Finish and Viridian color glass back adds to its aesthetic appeal.

Under the hood, the Agni 2 is powered by MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 7050 processor, making it India’s first smartphone to have this chipset. The processor promises smoother gaming experiences, intelligent performance, enhanced AI camera features, and extended battery life for prolonged gaming sessions. Accompanied by 8GB RAM (extendable up to 16GB) and a segment-best 256GB storage, the phone ensures seamless multitasking and ample space for storage.
