Apple’s New iPad Mini (2024) Now Available with 128GB Base Storage, A17 Pro Chipset, and Apple Intelligence Features Coming Soon
Released globally, Apple’s new iPad Mini (2024) is now available with a starting price of $500 for the 128GB Wi-Fi-only model—double the storage of its predecessor. A Wi-Fi + Cellular option is also on offer for $650, with 256GB and 512GB storage upgrades available.
The highlight of the 2024 iPad Mini is its Apple A17 Pro chip—similar to the iPhone 15 Pro’s chipset with slight modifications—paired with 8GB of RAM. Together, these enhancements will enable Apple Intelligence, a set of AI-driven features arriving with iPadOS 18.1 later this month. Initially, Apple Intelligence will be available only in US English, limiting early access to users in the United States.
The iPad Mini (2024) also brings faster connectivity, supporting Wi-Fi 6E for higher speeds and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with double the data transfer rate (up to 10Gbps) compared to the previous model.
The new iPad Mini is now live on Apple’s online store.
